Hi All, Have spent a long time shopping and kicking tires and finally pulled the trigger yesterday. Used 2008 Prius PKG #5 for $23,995. The car went on the road 4/11/08 and has 2443 miles. The owner loves it but situations prevents her from keeping it. How'd I do??:high5: Can't wait til next Friday when we close. covrc
Hi Guys, The situations were...Nice professional worker from Canada on contract since February. Was renting a car since March, decided to buy a Prius in April, contract terminated in May. Has not been in the states long enough to bring car back to Canada without increased costs. (I don't understand those laws). Ad was posted at 6pm on Craiglist 5/22, I responded within minutes. Set up meeting 5/23. Met, talked, drove, offered, accepted. She had a list of 12 responses with her and was meeting another buyer on the same lunch break. She called him, told him it was sold, he offered more, she said sorry, she had already agreed with me. Very Lucky I am. covrc
