I just printed out the Federal tax form 8910, which has been updated for 2006 returns. You can go to to: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f8910.pdf I also printed out New York State form IT-253 and it's instructions. BAD NEWS! It plainly states in the first paragraph of the instructions that the allowance for alternate fueled vehicles is no longer valid.
