We decided a few weeks ago that we needed to replace our 15yr old Toyota Carolla and we've always liked the idea of a Hybrid. We instantly liked the look of the Prius V at the local dealer for it's extra storage space so decided to take it and, at the salesman's recommendation, the Camry Hybrid for test drives. Also looked around at other similar cars (but no other real options for Hybrids here in Australia). We've always preferred hatches to sedans, and while the Camry is more powerful it's decidedly less versatile. Also the boot in the Camry was a lot smaller than I expected. Placed a deposit last Saturday on a Prius V i-Tech model and we're now waiting for it to be delivered from Melbourne to Hobart, so it's up to a 2-2.5 week ETA.
