Hello all Firstly thanks to Danny(?) for creating priuschat and everyone who has posted great insight about their Prius. I accidently discovered this site when contemplating replacing a much loved 1999 Subaru Legacy Wagon with a Prius V. I have found pretty much everything I was seeking info about on this site - the search capability is amazing. In the end we went for the V and two weeks in we're loving it (although I do miss rockin' out with the 5 speed manual...). So this family of four is currently saving about 40% on gas in a much more spacious passenger area, and satisfied with the reduced rear cargo area given our transition out of pack n plays and strollers. At this time I think there is only one other V in town. Safe travels all! Nitram
