Hey guys, new user here. Just bought my 2015 Prius Two yesterday and want to upgrade my speaker system. I've never worked on a car audio system before and figured some of you would have tips and suggestions on speakers. My last car was a 2009 MINI Cooper with MINI Hifi Sound. Budget is pretty midrange (I'd like to stay under $700).
First thing you need is the wiring diagram specific to your vehicle. If you play nice with your Dealership Service Manager he might hook you up, otherwise download what you need from TIS for a fee. Below is for the 2010 Prius II base system. While backup cam, head unit and other interfaces may differ, my "guess" is the speaker set-up is near identical. Match with like but better components.
