But Subaru is tweaking some parts of the Outback sedan and wagon this year to meet the specifications of a light truck, the same regulatory category used by pickups and sport utilities. Why? That's kinda sad, I've always enjoyed the design of the Outback - one reason I looked hard at the Matrix when it first came out. Utility, yet not as bulky as a SUV.
