Nissan IDS At North American International Auto Show - Photos & Videos I'm guessing that this is likely the Gen 2 Leaf in disguise. Carlos Ghosn, Nissan's CEO, is probably just teasing us while they work out the bugs, and I guess let GM have the limelight with the Bolt for now. Doesn't look half-bad to me. Though cool, I'm not sure the steering wheel going away thing is going to make it into the production car due to safety reasons, like if you suddenly need to resume control to avoid something/someone. looks more like the typical concept that will never be produced, to me. they always make them look like rocket ships to grab attention at the shows. interesting how they have copied toyota 'gills'.
