I don't know, the performance hybrid thing didn't work for Honda with the Accord hybrid. They pulled it after only a couple years in production. Why add the weight and try to get the performance, too? That's just me. If I were to settle for 30 mpg, I would just get the Avalon, and pay much less. I guess I am just a geezer. hwell:
BMW also has two performance hybrids, the ActiveHybrid 7 and the ActiveHybrid X6. I don't think they are selling terribly well. I haven't seen ANY on the road.
They left out the GS450h in the list. Not bad. Hopefully this will fair better than the HAH or 1G GSh. Might be a while. The Avalon isn't exactly a volume seller. Because if we can get the V8 crowd into a V6 hybrid, all the better. They get similar performance and much better mpg when they're not flogging it about.
