No Garage/Car Port Coverage for New Prius III

    Just brought my brand new silver 2011 Prius III home from the dealer. Unfortunately, it's going to have to sit outside (no garage or car port coverage).

    Is there anything special I should do the car to protect it from the elements here in SoCal (sun, wind, smog, etc)? Inasmuch as I'll be driving it back and forth to work every day, a car cover that has to be installed and removed daily doesn't seem too practical. Thoughts?

    Silver is a very forgiving color, so I wouldn't sweat it. Have it washed periodically, and waxed a few times a year (including clayed twice a year).
