I have been looking into parking sensors. The prius is so stealth, sometimes I worry about people walking behind me when I back up. In my last vehicle, I backed into a pole and caused damage to my bumper. Has anyone installed an electromagnetic parking sensor. A sensor strip is stuck to the inside of the front or rear bumpers, no holes or drilling involved. Youtube has some good videos. I heard good things about this one: Proxel EPS-Micro Plus. Thanks.
I put one in a different car. it worked, but could only detect metal object such as railings and shopping trolleys. Humans, brick walls and car bumpers (which are all made of plastic...) did not set it off. Just get the proper sensors.
