No longer on the fence

Hi all.

I've been kicking around choices for the last week or two, deciding with what to replace my 99 golf GL beater.

After a boatload of internet research, I finally test drove a 2013C Three today. It was surprisingly priced right in the middle of KBB's range for certified cars, as opposed to every other dealer car in the area , most of which are priced well above KBB, whether used or certified.

I'm sitting in the showroom now waiting for , presumably, the finance paperwork.

Normally I would not bother financing it, but if they are willing to give me 0.0%, I'll take them up on it.

~42k miles, moonroof, red.

Not thrilled with red, but my only real color criteria was "no white."

 

That was actually an hour or so ago. Home now with the new(er) car, skimming through the manuals.

Quick road trip back to the dealer to handover the title to the VW.

 

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've already learned a good bit, lurking while shopping. The add-a-backup-cam threads look to be quite helpful. In fact, they have been already, just on a this-is-indeed-possible basis.

I expect I'll be amazed regardless of how I drive - the old Golf got ~22 mpg.
