If you welcome the paparazzi doan a " ' Nice Prius'- Nobody Ever" bumper sticker and enjoy a laugh as people behind you at the red light fumble to photograph it with their phones. I was fortunate to inherit one from my brother who took the helm of our family' first spacemobile prior to my taking ownership. 2005, 230,000 miles, I doc'd 26k myself starting about 1yr ago, this car is unstoppable. Now researching the best all-season tires I can find, most worried about wet traction, least snow-have great snow tires... mostly highway- rack up 5000+ every 3/4 months with a 45min highway commute in upstate NY. Any suggestions? I used to have a sweet set of directional Hankooks for my old SAAB 9-3 that handled great, and Priuses already lag behind in cornering enough.... still love them though, just not the same.

They say a Saab owner's most ardent wish is to buy a car (y)

Haha, yeah, a fresh saab to put another 200,000+ miles on, they handle curvey roads like no one's business and come loaded with all the luxurious features... miss that driving my baseline prius in a crosswind.

Retired my 2006 93 with 240,000 miles on it.

Loved that car, but I lived without a gas gauge for years. I am really making up for that with my Gen 4 and all the ways to monitor MPGs and such.

I may be kidding myself, but I actually think it handles better than when the SAAB was new.
