Just wondering how beneficial it might be to have a rule that all private goods offered for sale must include a price. I have seen this work very well at other sites. The trouble with not listing a price for an item for sale is that one is not sure if the person is really interested in selling or not or just on a fishing expedition. Then there is the "make an offer listing". It can also be a fishing expedition or an invitation to have bruised feelings by either party if one or both ends feel the price is unreasonable. This can be eliminated by another rule (only two lovely rules! LOL) that states that negative comments on price be deleted. The "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything". None of this is a problem if the price is followed by OBO with negotiation to be done via messages. What do you think?
