I have a 2007, that was in minor fender bender in 2008. After repairs I could not get a standard drivers side headlamp to last more than a year. After having to go to dealer once and local shops second time, the third time I did myself and discovered the joys of gen2 headlamp inaccessibility. The fourth time around I bought an aftermarket LED replacement, thinking that LEDs have no filament to bounce around. And that worked great for about 6 years-ish (it's been a long time since I have had to change a headlight). However 6 years ago Virginia had not passed Anti-Blue headlight laws. So now I need an LED replacement as far down the color temp scale I can go. Most replacement say 6500K or 6000K and those are going to be blue. I have searched Amazon, google, rockauto, and ebay, and not turned up what I want. Does anyone have a recommendation for an LED replacement for the standard bulb (h4 or 9003 base i think it's called?) that is under 6000k color temp?

I have a set of these Philips UltinonSport 9003 and they are listed as up to 6000K. I personally perceive them as white without any hint of blue to my eyes.

Unless your state law states that color temperatures at 6K and above is illegal; I believe it should be OK. 6K is pure white, 6.5K has a blue tinge to it. You can buy a 3K-3.5K color temperature lamp that'll yield an auburn glow, like an incandescence bulb. I use those in my fog lamp setup. The newer ones can actually switch between white and auburn lamp colors.
Also make sure that your headlamps are legally aimed properly; so as not to blind on-coming traffic. I know my old 2012 Prius C had a very nice lens that accepted a LED swap-out very nicely.

    YMMV

FWIW; I believe all new car LEDs are in the 6K color temperature range.
