Jumping in to the Prius world. Just want to have a sunroof and leather seats in a Prius III. Any advice about these choices before I start asking for them? SFSpud (leaving the Saab-world behind. A '94 9000CS with 157K)
I believe that that sunroof and solar package are one. You can't have one without the other. Not sure about the leather part, someone else can probably answer this... but aftermarket leather goes for about $1000 installed.
best thing to do is a get a IV with the solar roof package. you get heated leather seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, homelink auto dimming rearview mirror, water repellent front windows, and navigation. otherwise you can get a III with solar package and aftermarket leather. or you can get a II and get an aftermarket moonroof and leather.
Leather seats are available in trims IV and V. The SRP is available as an option for trim levels III and IV. So if you want to go with factory SRP and leather, then your only choice is trim IV.
