I have 2012 Prius a few times now I'll shut the car off it seems to shut everything off but when you exit vehicle the key not detected warning comes on and can't remote lock the doors. This will be in this condition for a day or so. I'm wondering if there is a relay getting stuck? Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Does sound like the shutdown sequence is hung, but you may get a more knowledgeable response on the Gen 3 liftback forum. This forum is for the 2012-onward Prius v/alpha/plus wagon.
