This is utterly hilarious, and alarming at the same time  http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20061023/od_nm/germany_crash_dc_1 Vince
The problem is the German navigation systems that bark out orders ('Mach Schnell!'). There's likely some sort of severe penalty for failure to comply with the utmost urgency, as well. Reminds me of the BMW I had which required a CD of Bach's Toccota and Fugue in D Minor be played at least once a week or the car would shut down.
reminds me of that comercial a few years back... i think it was for state farm or one of those big insurance companies at any rate... Some guy's driving through a city, listening to his Nav unit - you think it's a comercial for a new car or something. Instead, it says "turn right...", he turns and goes right through the window of a coffee shop, and then it finishes with "in 100 feet". Always thought it was rediculous in the comercial, but if some people actually do it...
I was thinking of the same thing - wasn't it Nationwide? That sexy robotic NAV voice singing "Nationwide, is on your side"
