Very strange. How can a trip meter be HIGHER than the total odometer reading? I reset Trip A with each fill-up, and have not touched Trip B at all. However, when I look at the overall odometer reading and then look at the Trip B miles, Trip B is slightly higher than the odometer. How is that possible?
How much higher, where are the actual displayed numbers? If it is a single count higher, I'd attribute it to rounding on the trip meter versus truncation on the odometer. But this can't account for more than a single digit, and it will vary, with matching numbers half the time and a single count different the other half.
The difference is about half a mile. I hadn't realized the odometer wasn't showing 10ths of a mile as the trip meter does. Thanks!
