Long story short, my HID bulb came undone in my OEM housing and melted the housing in my 2013 Prius 3. Need to replace the whole headlight assembly, so I've been looking for an OEM replacement and found one for a 2012 (Part #81170-47212). Are these identical headlights? I've searched all over and I can't find a definitive answer and none of the Toyota parts guys know anything. Anyone have a similar situation?
Fantastic, thanks playas. While on the subject, can anyone point out any instructionals or threads that may show how to actually remove the headlight? I've done them on plenty of cars, and I'm sure it's pretty simple and straightforward, but a little step-by-step never hurts!
