Been changing oil and filter for 12+ years. Always had a problem engaging the filter threads as I was basically lying on my back and trying to insert said filter into blind hole. Always kept filter straight up and had issues engaging threads. last night I realized the filter was actually "tilted" to the front of the car. Tilted filter. A'll good. Engaged threads right away.
Good point. It's annoying and counterintuitive to have it tilted at all, much less tilted forward. Nice to see a post from you, I haven't seen you on the Gen 2 forum in a li'l bit.
Having lots of "issues" keeping me running. While they aren't anything I can't handle, they do keep me busy. But, you know what they say about idle hands. kris
The gen 2 oil filter is tilted? I've always been a bit lopsided, so maybe that's why I never noticed.......
