My experience with oil filter that was put in too tight. For anybody who encounter
oil filter that refuse to budge, try nylon wrench. When trying to change oil
yesterday, I couldn't remove the filter. The oil filter socket wrench keep on slipping.
After Googling, I found that nylon wrench is the best tool to deal with such problem.
For about $9 at your local autoparts. Use this only for the last resort.
It will crush or dent the oil filter. It crushed the oil filter a little bit but did not
break the oil filter when I did it. If you spill oil on the nylon wrench, wash it with soap as soon as possible.
