I know that when the engine oil level is low a screen will pop up saying to replace the oil. Is there a way to check the oil level without having to use the dip stick? On my old HCH it would display the oil life on a side toggle display.

Actually I'm a male and don't own one (legally blind), but live live with a female who just got the vehicle in my profile. Am legally blind because of vision problems.
the maint. reminder screen is mileage based, not oil level. there may be a low oil pressure warning, i'm not sure, you don't really want to find out. have someone check the dipstick when you get gas. all the best!
