Ok, I understand this is a sure sign that I've been off work for too long, but I've got the People's Court on in the background while I troll the Prius boards, and the case that's on right now has to do with overfilling the oil. It's not a Prius, but it caught my attention anyway (for obvious reasons). The case is whether or not the overfull oil caused damage to this lady's car. Of course the guy says no, it couldn't have. There were other issues involved with the car, too, but since the lady couldn't prove that this guy putting in too much oil caused the damage (judge thought it could have been a preexisting engine problem), she lost. Ok, time to go back to work.
I am convinced I did that with a 1963 VW beetle. I thought if some oil was good that more would be better. Not true.
