A quick story on the car..... I bought it late last year and the bloke I bought it from said it used alot of oil. I think I remember him saying it used 1L per 1000km or maybe 5000 can't quite remember. Anyway I serviced it today with 7000km on the oil that I put in it when I first got the car. Before I changed it the dip stick read half way. Once I changed it the waste oil measured about 3L I never added oil in the last 7000km so I would reckon it's possible that the oil I used was better than what he was putting in it. I checked it heaps of times in the first 3000km then forgot about it until today. It's a Penrite oil that is 5W-40 It has HPR 5 in purple writting and it's full synthetic. It would be interesting if this is a good oil to use once someone else trys it who has a car that is "using oil"
