    So the 'sidewall' and 'tread face' are one and the same. I wonder what that will do to foul weather traction.

    The bit where it says it could be used in robotics made a lot of sense. I can't say I'd fancy having it on a car: directional stability at highway speeds might, I think, be a little compromised.

    It does look cool, though. And it's very clever.
