I've had my PC2 for a month now, and my only complaint is I wish they'd been invented sooner. My first new car was an '82 (manual transmission) Toyota Pickup - not a Tacoma, just a truck. When that was driven to death, I got a '94 Corolla LE ... automatic transmission, but everything else was manual. Next was a 2002 Echo two-door - so stripped down it didn't even have a clock in it. This PC2 is a delight! I don't know which feature thrills me more, the rear window washer/wiper or the remote control mirrors. Heck, I love all the shiny bits. Though my Echo was still getting decent mileage (33-35 MPG) when I traded, I am consistently getting 53-76 MPG driving around town in the PC2. I can understand why some folks might want a car with a little more get-up-and-go, I can understand why some folks might want a car with a little more cargo space... but I don't think I'd trade my PC2 for any other Toyota on the market right now.
Thanks! Now, can someone tell me what the differences are between the C#s? I'm fairly certain I have a C2... is there such a thing as a C1? I gather the 3 probably has even more bells and whistles and geeky toys than the 2. Is there a 4? Oh, and did I mention how utterly amazing it is to have my ENTIRE music library on a single flash drive? I almost feel sorry for the radio industry at this point. If it weren't for traffic reports, I might not listen to the radio ever again.
The Toyota Prius c models and prices Toyota Prius c - 2012 Models: Prius c One, Prius c Two, Prius c Three, Prius c Four Check out the above links for details on the four different trims. I had originally written a paragraph listing a few main differences, but then kept coming up with more...basically just more goodies the higher up you go
The One has no cruise control. That is easiest way for me to tell. Three has push button lock, as does the Four. The Two had just what I wanted so I grabbed one. Plus, there were a lot of Twos available. Had our's 4 weeks now and have 700 miles on it. Taking it to Indy and Detroit this weekend. Will give a good feel for interstate driving. Dan
Thank you, Dan and Ashley. I've definitely got the C2 with the cruise control (which i almost never use, i prefer to keep my foot on the pedal). I don't think our dealership had anything but a pair of C2s, nothing higher, but lots of the other kind of Prius (too bulky for my tastes, too expensive, and i really hate that huge center console separating driver from passenger).
