The child will not sit where he is directed. Reprimands and reprisals are to no effect. And who can blame him? Who wants to spend all his time in the car staring at the backs of the front seats? Rather, he wants to sit in the middle of the rear bench, where he can see whats coming, and engage his parents in witty repartee. Consequently, he, and his shoes, are incrementally grinding away at the carpet overlying the hump. What is called for is a one piece rear mat that affords protection to the hump, as well as the rest of the floor. Doea anyone have a source for such a thing? regards tom baskin
