Couple days ago a wheel stud broke when removing a lug. So I go in, I take the the whole bracket, and caliper off in one piece, hang it up. Then not thinking, I hit the breaks to put it in neutral in order to fix the wheel stud. That closed the caliper of course and had trouble getting it all back together. Had to push it back open to fit it back over the rotor. Got it all back together but now I have abs, e break, and break system warning lights on. And it feels like the side I took apart is now not working at all or not as well, from feeling rotor temps. Does anyone have suggestions, I don’t wanna go to a shop and have them tell me it’s the whole abs module because I messed up when taking it apart

Start by getting the trouble codes from the brake system. If you don't have a scan tool that can do it, get them like this:

Blink (a/k/a Flash) Codes – How to. | PriusChat

Then we'll know more. If there was no brake fluid that escaped around the piston, things might not be too bad. If any did, you might have to revisit the way you got it all reassembled, and get some more fluid, and go through the bleed procedure.

Did you crack the fitting on the caliper in order to squeeze it down or do whatever it is you did to get it back together?

Retrieve the codes as suggested. Given the description of events, I would expect to find a "hydraulic system malfunction" code for whichever front brake was removed.

Basically that means that the brake control ecu "saw" low pressure at the disconnected brake, and interpreted it as a big fluid leak. If that is accurate, the ecu would set codes and keep the hydraulic valves for that brake closed.
