Ongoing MPG not shown

    I went from a 2005 Prius to a 2012 Prius Plug-In and noticed that unlike the 2005 model I see no constant average MPG displayed on the dash, I tried everything but only see my average MPG displayed when I shut the engine off.

    Hopefully this is right, going from memory:

    First on the steering wheel, push the display button several times:

    Till this shows:

    Then, push the steering wheel button trip button, just a quick push, not push-and-hold, and with each push the displayed values across the bottom will change, till "cons" shows.

    unfortunately, if you plug in, that mpg is exaggerated by the plug in miles, but only dividing by gas used.
