If a call comes in/goes out, is there a simple way to switch to phone only mode so that only that person can talk without the rest of the passengers having to listen to the conversation? I have a flip phone, and even with the handset open, I cannot hear any noise thru' it but onyl thru' the car audio. I know one can do it by disabling bluetooth but it is a pain everytime to go thru the set-up. Also, if I am using the phone before I get in the car, the call gets disconnected as soon as the engine is turned on even if I keep my handset on. Same happens when getting out of the car. Same bluetooth issue, i guess. Any way to avoid this??
legally?? no there is not, at least not here physically, simply hit the button on the display to switch to the phone.
this only happens if your BT on the phone is powered on and it should not disconnect you. it should transfer audio to the car.
As Dave has answered, there is a button on the nav screen when on the phone screen to transfer the call to the handset. Also, when the car is powered off even if on a call it will just send the call to the phone. I usually just do like mentioned above, send the call over before shutting the car off if I am on a call.
While the phone screen is up showing connection, volume, etc. it should be in the middle of the screen on the right. It is labeled TRANSFER CALL.
