Is there any way (OEM or aftermarket) to open all four windows when you are outside the car? I had an older Maxima that would let me lower all four windows with the FOB to let all of the hot Florida heat out of the car before getting in. Just wondering...
Yep! Any aftermarket security system should be able to get this functioning for you with the proper window modules.
I would love to see it done on the Prius. It's been done on other, older cars on-line but the can-bus on the prius windows is new to me and the motor is sealed with internal wiring. I looked. The window down device instructs you to cut the window motor wire and introduce the module wiring. Something tells me it hasn't been done on gen III at least not with the current window module instructions on the DEI 530T. I have seen it done on a video in Japan for toyota with a more sophisticated module that is not available to the public for some reason and I can't find a distributor. It's called the CAN-780 Check it out, if anyone knows where we can get one to try on the Prius and how much? Oh and I have sent emails and no one responded. Maybe only dealers can get responses?? my2cents. EDIT: I just noticed the mirror also goes in with this device. Look at .29sec and you see one of the mirrors folding in just barely.
