Hello everyone on Prius chat, I am new to forums here, been reading/lurking for last few weeks. At dealership today test driving and looking at new Prius models. I have settled on getting a 3 or 3T model. The 3 selection is good at my dealer's lot with some having several additional options, sunroof and additional packages. 3 touring models are only white on white interior and red with black interior, leaning toward 3 touring model with red and black interior. Anyone had any issues with 3 touring over 3s? Thanks for lots of great info here, David
Mine's a UK Business Edition (sorta bit 3 and bit 3T) red with black fabric interior and it suits me perfectly. Your choice, you really can't go far wrong either way.
What issues are you concerned about? The Touring will have a stiffer suspension setup than the regular Prius (which may or may not matter depending on the condition of the road surface in your area) as well as cosmetic upgrades such as blue contrast stitching on the seats blue outboard vent accents (vs. piano black or turquoise on the non-Touring) LED foglights and LED clearance lights (those 3 vertical LEDs) Touring-specific lower rear plastic valence (instead of a plain horizontal crease, there are / and \ creases too)
