    What a buzzkill.

We spent all evening waxing and shining up our new toy tonight... finished adding all our fun mods (finally had time to put on the front end mask tonight), try to take it out for a spin to show it off...

Flat tire. Less than two weeks with this car and already I screwed it up. Must have been from that construction zone.

As if that isn't bad enough, we yank out the spare tire and I was horrified to see it is this bright yellow-orange color. On my nice shiny black car with black mods. Does everyone have this or are we particularly unlucky?

I understand Toyota urges people to use the spare tire 'sparingly' but ACK! :pukeright: Is this really necessary?!?! I don't even want to drive it like this!

As a side note, the rim is ok but the jury is still out on the usefulness of the tire. Go figure, we cough up all sorts of taxes and fees money out of our own pockets waiting to be reimbursed by the dealer and now we might have to buy another tire. Makes me so mad! :cussing:

My husband is going to spraypaint it black once this whole thing is taken care of. Take that, Toyota!

Yeah, mine's that ugly pale yellow colour too. Funny thing is, when it's stored, it's the black side up so I thought it's black on both sides. Was surprised when I checked. Thank goodness I haven't had the chance to try it out

I had to use my spare for half a week. Nobody carried the OEM tire! Got the flat Thursday night before Christmas, had to wait until Tuesday after work to get a replacement, as the Goodyear dealership that had it was by my work.

Them rims are ugly! I think that's the point though. Like bowling shoes. Who'd want to steal them?
