Is there a way to adjust the outside temp display? My 2004 displays an outside temp that's exactly (and consistently) 4 degrees higher than the actual temperature. Any ideas on this one?
There's a modification that a dealer can do with their diagnostic tool to compensate for temperature variations. I think it can go a few degrees up or down. It's also worth noting that the temperature sensor might be slightly more accurate at some temps than at others, so if it's extremely cold (likely), or extremely hot (unlikely), then your readings might be a little more dodgy.
