Greetings - So I'm guessing that somewhere south of -40f the 'Outside Temperature' sensor fails. On my way in today my house was -30f but in town it is -47f. When leaving home it just showed -22 like always. But part way here the temp readout just went to -- . I assume i went though a low spot where temp dipped to absolute zero. But the readout stayed there till I got to work. And yes, my feet were chilly - but the heater did admirably well considering I'm still getting 38 mpg. And I had both dogs in the car so they were contributing quite a bit of heat as well. D.
I'm trying to figure out if the jittery nature of the picture is from a bump in the road or shivers. That's seriously cold. And a new bit of info I didn't know.
