My garage door is broken so I need to stay in my car overnight with my GS to make sure no one steals anything. I also plan on going across country and staying the nights in my car. I have a 2021 Prius Limited. I am looking for tricks on how to keep the engine running. This is my first night in my car. I locked the doors, put it on eco, set the temp to auto, 68 (94 outside). Car says ready. Any other trick I need? Yes, I know all about carbon monoxide, I have the back window open for my GS to hear if anyone comes up to the car for protection. Thank you
The HVAC compressor is electric and will draw the hybrid battery down to the point that the ICE will start and recharge it. The ICE doesn't need to run all the time. Only other question I have, what is GS?
