IMO the sound of the JBL system is OK - just OK. My main gripe is the overpowering DB from the front dash tweeters. Seems when I adjust the Fader to R3 or higher, more rear sound comes through, but then the tweeters are very weak. Just can't get the fader balance right - I know this is a common complaint. I would not want to go thru the pain of tweeter replacement. BUT- is it possible to cover the top dash grilles for the tweeters with something transparent or such, to cut the DB level from the fronts?
