Oxygen sensor and check engine light

    On our 2001 Toyota said we needed an Oxygen sensor to correct the check engine light for what i thought was an extravagant price.

    They are available online. <$100 for the exact OEM with connector. Did that but the light is still on. Is this like the olden days still where you have to do something else to reset?

    Can the CAN view do that or am I stuck with Toyota>

    I think Advance Auto or AutoZone can clear the code for you for free
