Hi folks, Today I had a closer look at the info on the tyres of my Oz Prius. This is what I found: Michelin Energy tyre 195/60 R15 88V-XVI Green X Treadwear: 240 Traction: A Temperature: A Max. Pressure: 51 PSI Tread Plies: 1 Polyester + 2 Steel + 1 Polymide Sidewall Ply: 1 Polyester Not knowing what a lot of this info meant, I searched and found the following relevant sites : http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyreinfo.html http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyrspeed.html http://www.indiacar.com/infobank/tyre_markings.htm and the following quote on a Michelin site: "XSE Technology Green X™ Pioneered by Michelin, this breakthrough ‘green’ technology is still the standard to beat. A special compound that reduces rolling resistance, Green X increases fuel efficiency and decreases pollution, without sacrificing any performance, life or comfort. " I hope that is of some interest.
