Hello All One of our 2010 Prius' has a P0171 and a Long Term Fuel Trim sitting around +25%. I compared other sensor values with another 2010 Prius and they were normal. It runs like normal but there is a fuel smell when it first turns on. Any recommendations at what I can look at, most threads I have searched at say to replace the fuel pump.
I have decided to accept it’s a fuel pump. Does anyone know what adhesive to use when putting the service hole cover back?
"New butyl tape" is all the repair manual says on the subject. I'm pretty sure they mean this kind of stuff: butyl body sealant roll - Google Search I think I have a roll somewhere that a guy just handed me one day when I was in a body shop or auto glass shop.
