Only four primary codes there: P0AA6 612 / P0A80 123 / P3024 123 all to do with the traction battery P0420 about the exhaust system All the other codes on the list are other computers in the car saying "hey, did you hear about those other codes?" and one solar code because it wasn't sunny when the codes were read. It does seem like the battery's got a couple problems.
John, You have several options on the HV battery issue. These are listed by price, how reliable you need, and for how long (least to more): 1) DIY Repair/replace failed modules in your pack: $50 (swap and pray) 2) Get a refurb/rebuilt (used) pack installed: $400-2500 (buyer beware) 3) DIY reconditioning w/ grid charger (plus option 1): $200-$800ish (IMO too late now for GEN 2) 4) Find a "good" used pack from later generations, DIY install: $500+ (not plugnplay) 5) DIY all new aftermarket modules (aka new battery $1600 6) Toyota Dealer Battery typical quotes: $3-4000 As one can see, if DIY, there are more options. IMO, #4&5 are the best bang 4 buck but #4 can be hard to come by at a good price. The only way to really know the age of used pack is to open it up and check the manufacture date codes on each module. GOOD LUCK!
You forgot a couple options. 2.5) DIY reconditioning with hobby chargers. Includes #1. Takes LOTS if time to do it "right". Can be $100 to over $500 depending on how much equipment you buy. 5.5) DIY replacement with all new Toyota modules. $1600 to $2000. Usually has a shorter warranty than having the dealer do the install. Anything option that reuses old modules has a risk of repeat failure- it is just question of when. So I took the battery out today and found some corrosion. This is on block 11 all other blocks look the same. Anything else I should be looking for ?
