Hi all, I have been struggling to work out error code p2195 which tell lean (se attached screenshot) engine run a few minutes and RED triangle appear. Done: Did clean fuel injectors, replaced new precast O2 sensor (air/fuel ratio sensor), clean MAP sensor, checked fuel pump and fuel filter a little bit dirty and use fuel injector fluid to clean pump and soak out with petrol, full petrol tank. Appreciated could someone give advice?
Hello, and welcome to PriusChat! What year is your Prius, and how many km? If you can get the engine to run at all, then monitor some data. What is the MAF sensor reading (grams per second) at what rpm? What is the B1S1 upstream Air Fuel sensor reading and the B1S2 downstream Oxygen sensor reading? What are the short and long term fuel trim readings? You may need to get a (high) pressure gauge connected to the fuel system and test what pressure the pump can produce. Australian maintenance schedule has fuel filter replacement, something not in the North American schedules.
The P2195 is about a "lean" indication from the A/F sensor, but it's specifically about a "lean" indication that the ECM doesn't quite believe (because it's contradicted by other information the ECM has, like the injection status and the O₂ sensor reading). So the troubleshooting can be a little different from when you really think the engine's running lean.
