I've been getting these codes: -P3000 subcode 123 -P0A82 Hybrid battery pack cooling fan 1 performance / stuck off I assume the first code is just directing my attention to the second. I can tell the pack is in need of a 3rd rebuild but there are no other battery codes. I assume this is because, though the modules are all tired, they are in balance. But I digress. As far as I can tell, the fan is never actually stuck. I can hear it fairly loudly on mode 6. When I hook up my grid charger, I can hear the fan hauling butt. But I need to have my ear to the vent to hear it on all other modes. When I do this, I only really seem to hear the motor and the movement of the fan blades in their housing. I would expect to hear air rushing, at least on modes 4 or 5. But I'm doubting my senses and don't have another Prius to compare. Has anyone here dealt with this issue? Should I be able to hear rushing air on any modes below 6, at least with my ear to the vent? I'll probably just replace the fan but I wonder if it's an issue with the battery ECU causing a false read of a fan issue. Thanks Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
