Hi everyone. While doing a Prolong hybrid battery reconditioning I decided to take off the intake manifold and clean it. It currently has 87k miles. After getting done with all the maintenance and running the 12-volt battery charger I went to start the car and got a "check hybrid system" warning on the dash. It sounds like I flooded the engine as if one or two cylinders aren't firing. Techstream tells me that I have a p3190 code and no other code. I went to the store and got a new intake manifold gasket set, took apart the intake and was even more careful reinstalling it with the new gasket. It's still giving me a check hybrid system warning. I'll go out to the car this evening and make sure there is no other fault code. Is there anything else I should check? My car was running perfectly before the maintenance. Any ideas I'd appreciate it? Thanks Pixel XL ?
When that kind of thing happens to me, I always start by double checking connectors. I once left off the MAF connector and got a code, but don't recall which one.
Found it. It was the evap purge solenoid hose to manifold. The lowest hose in the engine compartment I think. My neighbor found it laying on top of the black skid panel. The car runs great now. Pixel XL ?
The hose is missing then? This one?: Vacuum piping for Toyota Prius XW30, 3 generation, restyling 12.2011 - 11.2015 - Toyota Car and Auto Spare Parts - Genuine Online Car Parts Catalogue - Amayama
