I accidently dripped some rubbing alcohol over the vent panel next to the center console and dulled the paint on the panel. Any idea if I can find a easy match for the color at a hobby shop? I am thinking some metallic spray paint may do the trick, but I don't really want to spray all over since a the symbol silk screen would be gone. Has anyone here tried to repair the paint on these panel and know what color gives the best match? If I just spray paint a small spot would the remedy be worse than the problem to begin with? I have a '06 silver with the black/grey interior so the panels are metallic sliver with a slight golden tint. Long shot but I thought I'll check here first. Thanks!
