Painted interior A Pillar plastic panel?

    Has anyone ever sanded the felt like surface on the interior A Pillar plastic panel and spay painted it?
    Thinking of doing this cause I don't like the tan panel with black dash.

    It’s flocked so use solvent like acetone to clean it. What plastic is the part made out of? It should be marked on the part itself. After you know the type of plastic you know what to use to clean it and paint it. Probably only minimal sanding is required.
