Wanted to share and post a current setup that I got working. I went with the Pan Long unit with 20% code offered, under $10 delivered on Amazon. Panlong Bluetooth OBD2 OBDII Car Diagnostic Scanner Check Engine Light for Android - Compatible with Torque Pro Asin: B00PJPHEBO I got this working on my Samsung S8+ and older LG G3. Apps I tested: Hybrid Assistant Torque (lite) Dr. Prius DashCommand So as of today, early Nov 2019, the $9 device works fine with all those apps. I am however finding the battery % to seem a little off on everyone.. it shows 56% but it looks like I'm at 80-85% on the bar graph in the cars display.
