I recently bought 2012 Prius + (or V). It has parking sensor front and back. It also seems to have some display in rear view mirror but when I am parking no sound can be heard. Any ideas how that can be fixed?
That last photo is the pedestrian notification system and is unrelated to the parking sensors. I find you guys tend to install parking sensors much more often than we do so I suppose there’s more variation in how they work. Here, we’re just used to a set of 4 rear bumper sensors and audible beeps (no visual) if they’re aftermarket. A manufacturer’s option is a bit more comprehensive. I’d check with a Toyota dealer to see if it was offered as an accessory or factory option on the Prius+. Hopefully an Irish member can chime in.
