Parts-Toyota or equivalent inexpensive source?

    I'm looking for parts for my California based 06 Prius that are either Toyota or equivalent/good quality.

    Oil filter, engine air filter, cabin air filter, etc. are the typical parts that I buy.

    I tried a few links on previous posts but the links are broken.

    Are people buying these parts at the dealerships, waiting for sales, or is there a cheaper online sources?

    For oil filter, I bought a dozen on ebay from a Toyota dealer.

    For the engine air filter and other maintenance parts (PCV, inverter pump, etc..), I bought it from Champion Toyota or 1st Toyota.

    For the cabin air filter, I just use the best 3M furnace filter from Home Depot and cut it up. That cost me a few buck per filter.

    Patrick Wong uses Champion Toyota in Texas If I remember correctly;
    I have purchased from RockAuto. Take off 5% using this code: MM5531 till 5/31.

    The trick is to buy multiple items together in quantity to save on shipping. I have a PCV and inverter pump sitting on my shelf for about a year now, waiting for the 'big' maintenance next year ;-)
