Here's a silly question, but one that has been bugging me. On the passenger side of the dash there is a sign "Passenger Airbag". Adjacent is a bulb that illuminates "On" when I have a passenger in the front seat. However, when there is no passenger, I have no indication (i.e. no "Off" indicator). Is this normal to have only the positive indicator? :huh: Oh yes, by the way, did I say I love this car?
Yes. It'll say "OFF" when you have something or someone in the passenger seat AND the seatbelt buckled but weigh lower than the weight threshold required to activate airbag deployment.
